Week 13 Football: What to watch (Championship Weekend Edition)

Sadly, there are no games on Thursday. If you need a football fix, you’re going to be stuck with the NFL... Saints vs Cowboys... Enjoy watching Drew Brees throw for 600 yards and 8 TDs. Or if you have ESPN+, you can watch The Citadel take on Charleston Southern.

Friday will feature what should be two highly entertaining games, although they’ll be polar opposites. The MAC Championship will be a high-scoring affair while the PAC12 Championship will set offense back at least a decade.

App State should cruise to their first Sun Belt title at home in Boone. Texas vs Oklahoma is the championship matchup Big 12 administrators dreamed about. That CUSA title game is going to be really good, so catch the 2nd half of that after the ECU-State game. By the way, don’t be shocked if Marshall beats Virginia Tech.

Everyone will be watching the SEC championship in the 3:30pm time slot, but the AAC championship should be entertaining.

In the evening games, when you’re done watching Clemson murder Pitt and Ohio State stomp Northwestern, flip on over to that Mountain West Championship for some seriously good football. That’s the underrated game of the entire weekend.
