The East Carolina Pirates roll into Carter-Finley for a Hurricane Florence make-up game, with a nice 70% chance or rain just to ensure the hurricane theme still somewhat sticks. The Pirates are a team in a state of transition, as (now former) head coach Scottie Montgomery was fired just 48 hours before kickoff of this game. The outcome Saturday will hinge on how the ECU players and coaches channel the emotions of their coach getting canned.

Will the Pirates be able to focus in and channel their emotions into pulling off a huge upset over their in-state rival? Or will the Wolfpack take advantage of a distracted team and officially end the Scottie Montgomery era for ECU by handing the Pirates a resounding ‘L’?
