BTP Pregame Predictions: Wake Forest

Wake Forest makes the trek on over to Raleigh for a primetime Thursday night showdown. NC State is coming off a win over Florida State and is chasing a 10-win regular season, while Wake Forest comes in hoping for a win to boost their chances of reaching bowl eligibility.

The Demon Deacons will be breaking in a new starting QB as FR Sam Hartman went down with a leg injury in last week’s loss to Syracuse. SO Jamie Newman is likely the starter, but it wouldn’t be surprising to see the offense handed over to JR Kendall Hinton who shined in a reserve role last year.

Will NC State be able to make the most of the senior night energy in a blackout in Raleigh, or will an injury-riddled Wake Forest squad rise to the occasion and pull out the win?
