NC State has had six players drafted up to this point in the 2018 NFL Draft, which is second only to Alabama. Not too shabby, huh. After Bradley Chubb went fifth overall, the next Wolfpack player to be selected was B.J. Hill by the Giants with the fifth pick of the third round. Fellow defensive tackle Justin Jones went 15 picks later to the Chargers.
On Saturday, Nyheim Hines came off the board quickly, and he’ll be playing for the Indianapolis Colts. Kentavius Street went at pick No. 28 of the fourth round to the 49ers, and Will Richardson was the next pick, headed to the Jaguars.
That’s awesome news all around, but especially so for Street, who tore an ACL this offseason. I’m happy to see that a team believed in him enough that the injury didn’t totally kill his draft stock. And here’s Will Richardson getting the phone call from Jacksonville (spoiler alert: he is very happy):

We’re in the fifth round now, and Jaylen Samuels remains on the board for some reason. This is the only thing still putting a damper on the weekend.
