NC State picked to finish 3rd in ACC Atlantic Division

This seems to happen every year.

Ah third place, the comfy old recliner we settle into seemingly every year at this time. NC State is once again expected to finish behind Clemson and FSU in the Atlantic, though two brave souls did in fact pick the Wolfpack to win the division. Which is one more first-place vote than the Seminoles got.

I could see arguments for any combination of teams from second through sixth in the Atlantic, with Clemson locked in at first and Syracuse locked in at seventh. It’s setting up to be that kind of year in the league’s middle.

On the other side, UNC received a first-place vote from someone who is definitely not a homer.
