NC State is doing some dumbass recruiting shit in the middle of a hurricane

I don’t have words for how stupid and tone-deaf shit like this is:

NC State’s assistant football coaches have been tweeting out this image Thursday morning, and it’s obviously meant for State’s recruits, hence the sorry #1Pack1Goal slogan there at the top and the Dave Doeren signature in the lower right.

Always be ‘crootin in the middle of a hurricane, just in general as an insult to basic human decency. Maybe this is not the time to be creating recruiting material? “We’re thinking about you, but only if you are in these four states where most of our recruiting is done! One Pack One Goal please don’t die we need you to play football for us next year.”

I don’t know why something like this would seem necessary, but I guess when you live in the football bubble, and you have a bunch of creatives sitting around a computer bored, thinking, “well probably other schools are doing this!” then this is what you get.

You can turn off for a week, it’s okay! You can even offer honest concerns for the millions of people who are going to be affected by this hurricane, free of any cynical, opportunistic bullshit.
