Jakobi Meyers and Stephen Louis back practicing for NC State

Good news ahead of an important weekend.

Dave Doeren offered some injury updates during his weekly Monday afternoon press conference, and the news is mostly good. Both Steph Louis and Jakobi Meyers practiced on Sunday, and both are listed on the updated depth chart, which is a good sign. Tight end Dylan Autenrieth is also back practicing.

Ricky Person, on the other hand, remains out with a leg injury. Trent Pennix and Brady Bodine are listed as the reserve running backs behind Reggie Gallaspy. I don’t know about the severity of Person’s injury, but on the bright side, he can still redshirt if it ends up being a long-term issue.

Cary Angeline is eligible to play this weekend and is listed as the starting tight end, though Doeren sounded like he’s going to work Angeline into the offense slowly. A lot may depend on how he plays in practice this week. Let’s hope he gets up to speed quickly.
