The Pack should have an easy time with the Panthers.

This week is the only gimme on NC State’s schedule, it appears, so we’ll have to enjoy it while we can. The Wolfpack opened up as a three-score favorite to beat Georgia State, and the line has gotten a bit larger since then. The over/under for the game is at 58 right now.

GSU opened its season with a narrow 24-20 win over FCS Kennesaw State. Kennesaw is a pretty good FCS team, but still, that wasn’t the most encouraging start to the year for the Panthers, who managed just 4.8 yards per play in the contest. KSU out-gained Georgia State by 67 yards.

That bodes poorly for week two, since I’m going to venture a guess that the Panthers will need more than 24 points to win. Most likely, they’re in for a rough day in Raleigh.
