BTP Pregame Predictions: Boston College

So how’s this thing gonna go? Hopefully with a second straight ACC win

Coming off a better-than-the-score-indicated win over Syracuse in a Thursday night game, a Wolfpack squad with a few extra days rest welcomes a Boston College team fresh off a bye week. The Eagles, however, had to use that time off to break in a first-time starting QB.

Will NC State put together back-to-back ACC wins in Bailey Hockman's second start? Or will BC, behind former walk-on QB Dennis Grosel, secure a home win and continue to march toward bowl eligibility?

Each BTP contributor provides their score prediction below, plus a quick blurb on their predicted outcome. Here we go!

Omega Wolf

Prediction: 26-20 (W)

Comment: “Still too many FGs. Secondary allows a couple HRs. But gonna cover and win on the road!“

Prediction: 13-10 (W)

Comment: “Dunn gets a game winner as time expires in another kinda ugly victory“

Prediction: 24-21 (W)

Comment: “My optimism is returning and as such I predict that we will crack the 20-point barrier this week.“

Prediction: 23-27 (L)

Comment: “Weird game with a sparse noon crowd. Defense contains Dillon to “”only”” 95ish yards, but offense stalls just enough to let a winnable game slip away.“

Prediction: 31-16 (W)

Comment: “Offense continues to look better, while Pack D forces BC to settle for FGs early. 10-9 game at half, then State pulls away“

Prediction: 20-13 (W)

Comment: “Another game where you feel like the Pack are playing p...“

Prediction: 20-17 (W)

Comment: “BC will score off big plays due to a better-than-expected Grosel & Dillon breaking a big run, State D & ST give us short fields to lead to a win“

BTP Staff Cumulative Prediction: 22-18 (W)
