What do you need to see from NC State the rest of the way to feel okay about this season?

I know a lot of us are frustrated right now—hard not to be when NC State’s offense is struggling so badly—so it’s a good time to ask, what results the rest of the way would make you feel okay about this season?

I think it’s safe to say, based on what we’ve seen from the team, that it is not going to reach nine wins. Stranger things have happened, I guess, but it feels highly unlikely. I’m just hoping State can get to bowl eligibility.

And that is one reason why this week’s game is so important—pick up the win against Syracuse and getting to six wins looks like a pretty good bet. That would mean finding one more win aside from Georgia Tech. (And yeah, I know it’s a bad idea to count anything as a sure win, but man, Tech is so bad.)

At this point I think I could live with a 6-6 finish with a limited amount of grumbling—beating Carolina again would help a lot—but I’d be more relaxed about the state of the program as a whole with a 7-5 finish. What about you?
