It’s going to be another productive NFL Draft for the NC State football program, which may have a first-round pick for the second year in a row. That would be center Garrett Bradbury, who has done nothing but raise his profile during the spring.
The Athletic’s Dane Brugler has Bradbury going at No. 19 overall to the Tennessee Titans, and he thinks Bradbury could emerge as an immediate starter. He’s not the only draft expert who feels that way.
Brugler has three other Wolfpack players going in the first 100 picks: Kelvin Harmon at No. 82, also to the Titans; Germaine Pratt to Pittsburgh at No. 83; and Ryan Finley to New England (bleh) at No. 97. He also has guard Tyler Jones going to the Chargers at No. 130.
Noticeably absent is Jakobi Meyers, who I figured for a draft lock, but I guess that shows what I know. I’m still guessing he’s picked somewhere, which would give State six draftees in this class and 13 over the last two. Last year’s seven-player draft class was the largest in school history.
