ACC announces additional football game times, TV info

On Wednesday we learned that NC State’s game against ECU will be a nooner, and today we have learned that, oh yes, there will be more noon games. In week two, the Wolfpack will host Western Carolina at 12:30 p.m. with television coverage by your regional sports network. (Your local Fox Sports Network, most likely.)

Both of NC State’s Thursday night games—vs. Syracuse, at Georgia Tech—have been set for 8 p.m. ET on ESPN. No surprise there.

The league also announced times for a handful of Friday night games, none of which include NC State this season. I am guessing that’ll change moving forward as I expect the new network will lead to more games being scheduled for Fridays.

I know there are folks who don’t like the Friday games because of high school football schedules and such, but one thing about those Friday games is that you don’t have to worry about them kicking at noon. (Well, Thanksgiving weekend excepted.)
