NC State is No. 46 in The Athletic’s preseason rankings of all 130 FBS teams

Guess what, everybody! After this week, it’ll be next week, which is game week! I can see the light at the end of the tunnel, and it’s carrying the scent of hot dogs and Old Tuffy.

We won’t be talking about preseason polls for much longer, but here’s one more: The Athletic ranked all the FBS teams from 1 through 130. NC State is No. 46, which is an outrage I tell you! Or possibly fair. One or the other.
