BTP Pregame Predictions: West Virginia

So how’s this thing gonna go? Hopefully with a nice road ‘W’

Fresh off pitching a shutout against in-state foe Western Carolina, NC State hits the road to take on another mountain team from farther up in the Appalachians in West Virginia. The Mountaineers are in Year 1 of the Neal Brown era and off to a not-great start. After squeaking by James Madison in the opener, WVU got shellacked on the road last weekend by Missouri.

Can the Wolfpack continue the excellent play in their first road test of 2019? Or will the Mountaineers use the formidable home field advantage in Morgantown to knock off NC State?

Each BTP contributor provides their score prediction below, plus a quick blurb on their predicted outcome. Here we go!

Omega Wolf

Prediction: 20-12 (W)

JEOHankins2

Prediction: 24-17 (W)

Comment: “WVU is LIT! Comes out firing with new wrinkles on offense & passion on defense, depth catches up to them and State goes ahead late“

Steven

Prediction: 28-20 (W)

PirateWolf

Prediction: 17-16 (W)
