BTP Pregame Predictions: Ball State

Coming off a highly anticipated road match-up with West Virginia that resulted in a demoralizing loss with many questions, NC State returns home to Raleigh to take on a feisty Ball State squad that is looking to capture it’s second ever (and second consecutive - Virginia, 2013) win over an ACC school.

Can the Wolfpack put away the demons that presented themselves a week ago in Morgantown? Or will the Cardinals user their offensive prowess to take advantage of the flaws exposed in NC State’s defense and capture the upset road win?

Comment: “BSU leads after 1Q, but NCSU starts pulling away in 2Q, learning from last week and sticking to the run to kill the Cards. Pack D still has issues.“

Comment: “The defense takes last week’s embarassment and uses it to fuel an impressive performance. The offense rides the RBs to a good showing, but Pack fans will still be quite nervous heading into week 1 of ACC play.“

Comment: “Ball State will move the ball through the air, but State dominates on the ground both ways for a relatively stress free win“
