Coming off a disappointing road trip up into the mountains of Virginia, NC State will travel farther north this weekend for a tilt at Pittsburgh. The Panthers enter the game as a pretty heavy favorite, both by the oddsmakers and the advanced stats nerds, and feature one of the nations best defenses.
Will the Pitt defense suffocate NC State’s offense, forcing the Wolfpack defense into another week of extra duty, as well as another deflating loss? Or will NC State get a Nyheim Hines-level effort from a Wolfpack player to pull off the upset over the Top-25 Panthers?
