There’s some days where you’re like, “sure I can explain this to our various absent relatives; this was a normalish game”. And then there was NC State’s experience at Syracuse on Saturday afternoon.
And I don’t know how exactly you figure it, how you might attempt a finer point, since this was just a joke of sports. and somehwere you are worn out by the bullshit of circumstances. But. But!
This didn’t need to be a struggle, but it was an NC State struggle, and it included Bailey Hockman whipping a ball backward out of the end zone, and also, sure, there was the rest of what happened.
How do you explain that? How do you rightfully explain again a team that is again resilient? Actually, who gives a shit. We won.
