One man’s educated assessment of how the ACC breaks down this season: David Hale ranks each program by position group, and this is not the most encouraging look at NC State.
I'll reserve making picks for the season until we're closer to actually playing games, but I think as we look at how my rankings avg out, it looks a lot as I'd expect.

I’d say that the linebackers and special teams are being underrated, but still, not the prettiest picture.
The initial SP+ ratings for 2020 are a bit more optimistic, ranking NC State above Duke, Wake Forest, Boston College, and Syracuse.
