NC State’s football team was on the practice field together for the first time in an official capacity on Tuesday. Afterward, Dave Doeren and some players met with the media via Zoom call.
— Pack Pride has the transcripts from both Doeren and the players. Doeren:
Traditionally we would have had them here working out for a long time, and we would have known exactly where they are at conditioning-wise. With us having six weeks to prepare them, we are spacing our workouts and not doing as much, particularly the first week. We’re going to try to get their legs back and get them into football shape. We were out there for about an hour and a half. It is a different camp from that standpoint. Generally you have about 30 days, 29 days of camp with 25 practices. We have six weeks to really get 24, 25 days of work in.
— T.J. Warren done did the basketball good again.

Warren didn’t miss a shot during the first half.
— This morning, UConn became the first FBS team to announce it will not be playing football this fall. The Huskies are now independent in football so this move won’t affect any league’s scheduling plans.
— In stark contrast to that news, the Big Ten announced its 2020 schedule, with teams set to begin play on Sept. 5. Uh, yeah, I dunno about that.
