No changes to NC State’s depth chart ahead of Boston College

No surprises, not surprisingly.

NC State didn’t suffer any major injury calamities against Louisiana Tech but did have some guys shaken up that day, so I wondered if there would be any noticeable absences this week. Mostly I was worried about Daniel Joseph.

But Joseph is in his usual place on the updated depth chart, along with everybody else. Cory Durden is listed at first string nose tackle after Josh Harris started against Louisiana Tech, though I’m not sure that really qualifies as a change. Devan Boykin also got the start at safety over Tanner Ingle in that game, but that doesn’t figure to become a pattern either.

NC State has been pretty fortunate overall with its injury situation. On the offensive side, for example, the same 11 guys have started every game. That continuity really helps, especially up front. The defense has had the noteworthy losses but has held up well despite those missing pieces.

We can only continue praying to the football gods that these things continue.
