The Wolfpack head back down to the state of Florida for the second time this year, hoping for a better result in Tallahassee than they one they had in Coral Gables. NC State struggled for the first three quarters of last week’s game against Louisville, but put together a great fourth quarter effort to pull away in a 28-13 victory.
Florida State started off the year 0-4, including some devastatingly close losses that called into question the future of Mike Norvell’s coaching tenure with the Seminoles; however, the team has rebounded to win three of their last four, with the only loss being last week at Clemson. The Seminoles appear to have found their offensive identity behind dynamic dual-threat QB Jordan Travis and a pair of RBs who combine with Travis to give the team a three-headed rushing monster.
Will the Seminoles continue the upward trajectory the team has displayed over the middle third of the season, using their offensive propensity to propel FSU to victory? Or will NC State put together an effort good enough to capture the program’s fourth win in Tallhassee over the last 20 years?
