NC State’s game this past Saturday at Mississippi State was a total dud, but it did have a silver lining (no, it didn’t). Wolfpack wide receiver Emeka Emezie moved up one spot on both the career receptions and career receiving yards lists. He now sits at 4th and 6th, respectively.

Emezie’s six receptions in the game moved him past Kelvin Harmon for sole possession of 4th place on the career records list with 180 receptions. He is now 11 receptions shy of Torry Holt for 3rd place and 21 receptions short of tying Jaylen Samuels’ record of 201.

The 92 receiving yards piled up by Emezie in Saturday’s game put him past Nasrallah Worthen for 6th on the all-time receiving yards list. He is now 96 yards behind Eddie Goines, 185 yards behind Owen Spencer, and 409 yards behind Harmon who currently sits in 3rd on the list. He would need another 1,123 yards to match Holt’s record.
