NC State is a 10-point underdog against Clemson

NC State and Clemson have identical 4-3 records, though one of them is slightly more impressive—and tumultuous!—than the other. The Tigers have one-score losses to Florida State and Miami, and led both games by 10 before losing both in overtime.

There was also that Duke game where they threw up all over themselves in the red zone. Cripplingly bad turnovers have killed Clemson this season (a 56-yard fumble return score by FSU completely turned that one, for instance), but in general Clemson has been pretty good.

Better than State for sure, hence the 10-point spread on this one. The Wolfpack is coming off a bye, at least, and hopefully that extra time will provide some rejuvenation. Clemson is probably going to be a little pissed off after the way that Miami game ended on Saturday.

We’ve not seen any Carter-Finley magic this season, where it seems like the crowd propels the team to play at a higher level, and this would sure be a nice weekend to see a little of that.
