Kevin Concepcion will be back at NC State in 2024

It’s nice to get this out of the way before portal season really gets out of hand: NC State wide receiver Kevin Concepcion has a no doubt very comfortable NIL deal in hand that’s going to keep him in a Wolfpack uniform in 2024.

It still takes getting used to this kind of thing, but it’s the reality—if you have a good player, especially a young player, then other schools are going to be hovering, pushing that player to enter the portal, making all kinds of promises in the process. Tampering is still illegal, but it ain’t like that’s stopping anyone.

KC established himself as one of the best freshman playmakers in the country, and his 10 touchdown receptions rank 14th nationally. His play has been critical to NC State’s turnaround this season, and as Cory mentions in the above-linked article, he’s got a chance to break Koren Robinson’s freshman receiving yardage record.

Can’t wait to see what he can do in year two.
