The NC State swim team completed its sweep of ACC titles when the men took home the crown this weekend for their fifth league championship in a row. The women won ACCs last weekend, making it their second league crown in three seasons. This is the best program on campus and it just keeps on winning.

It’s difficult to keeping coming up with ways to praise the job Braden Holloway has done since returning to his alma mater as the head coach and there certainly doesn’t seem to be any end in sight to Wolfpack swimming’s dominance in the ACC. The only thing missing for Holloway at this point is a team national title, and both the men and women should be looking at top-10 finishes at minimum.
Maybe this year is the year for a breakthrough at NCAAs, but if a title eludes them again, it’s weekends like this one that serve as a pretty good consolation prize.
