NC State’s streak of made three-pointers on Sunday is the wildest thing I’ve seen all year, by far. I’d feel bad for Virginia for running into the buzzsaw, but it was far too amusing to produce any guilt. And anyway Virginia can go suck a lemon.
Here are all 13 of the shots State made during the streak, which extended into the early portion of the second half. The Wolfpack broke the previous NCAA record for consecutive made threes.

Yesterday, @PackWomensBball went 13-for-13 from beyond the arc to start the game, surpassing the previous NCAA Division I women's basketball record of 11 consecutive made 3's. pic.twitter.com/5ePhQTq0mR
Why doesn’t Coach coach ‘em up to do that every game!!!!!!!!!!
State finished with more made threes than made twos, and if the team continues to make two-thirds of its threes every night (State finished 14-22) then you have to like its chances in the postseason.
Seriously though, this was a needed confidence-booster heading into the ACC tournament. The Wolfpack has to be productive from beyond the arc (maybe not quite this productive) in order to be successful—that’s how the team is built.
