Simon Harris has been a significant part of NC State’s recruiting success since he came back to Raleigh a couple of years ago, and it’s not surprising that his hard work has been noticed by other programs. Ohio State’s women’s basketball program announced the addition of Harris to its staff on Friday.

Harris is definitely a rising star in the coaching profession and it’s a tough blow to lose him, but there’s no doubt he’s earned a raise and a promotion. It wasn’t that long ago that he was working on Archie Miller’s staff at Dayton, before he transitioned to the women’s side and quickly began working his way up.
He’s well on his way to a head coaching gig down the road, and I wish him the best at Ohio State.
