NC State avenged its loss in Chapel Hill with a decisive victory over the Tar Heels on Sunday afternoon. The Wolfpack played well at the defensive end and UNC’s perimeter offense came crashing back to earth—the Heels were 0-12 from beyond the arc during the first half.
UNC shot 11-26 from three in Chapel Hill, but without that sort of standout performance, the Heels didn’t have the necessary firepower to keep up with the Pack this time around.

Mmmm ... victory cupcakes.
Thanks to Louisville’s loss to Florida State today, NC State is back even with the Cardinals in the loss column with one week left in the regular season. The Pack closes out league play with a home game against Pitt and a road trip to Syracuse, while Louisville has a road game at Notre Dame remaining.
